At Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday October 16, 2010. Rick McKinlay of Peterborough in his 65th year, was a lifetime employee of Canadian General Electric and formidable soccer player for Kent Cleaners and the Friday Night Oldtimers League. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Rogers). Dear father of Robert (Heather) McKinlay and Julie (Steve) Dodd, all of Peterborough. Cherished “Pops” of Derek, Alec and Casey. Predeceased by brother Randy. Dear uncle of Stacey (Scott) Lewis of Wellington, New Zealand and Matthew McKinlay and family of Kingston. Friends will be received at the COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 83 Hunter Street West (beside the bridge), Peterborough from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday and 10 – 11 a.m. Friday at ALL SAINTS ANGLICAN CHURCH. A memorial service will then be held at ALL SAINTS ANGLICAN CHURCH, 235 Rubidge Street, Peterborough on Friday October 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.. Inurnment at Little Lake Cemetery at a later date.
