(Roy was a 29 year employee with the Peterborough County Roads Department, 53 year member of the Keene Lions Club and a 57 year member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church). Roy McFarlane of Peterborough in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Mildred (Millie) Howson. Dear father of Rob (Rose), Rick (Melanie), Peter (Mary-Ann), Chris (Diane) and Darlene (Mike Clark). Cherished Grandpa of Roy, Ann-Marie, Tara, Ryan, Alecia, Brittany, Ian, Kevin, Madeline, Owen and great grandpa to Matt, Mya, Mackenzie, Makenna, Morgan, Ashley, Nicole, Jason and Mason. Predeceased by his brothers John, Hugh, Bill and Gord. Friends will be received at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 785 Park St., Peterborough from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012.
