Halman, Rudolphus Gregorius (Ralph)

Peacefully after a brief illness on Tuesday June 21, 2016 at PRHC.

Ralph was born in the Netherlands in 1931 and immigrated to Canada in 1953. He was the beloved husband of Catherine (Bos) for 57 years. Loving father of Betty (Ken Plumley), Robert (Dawn Johnson), Brenda (Henry Osak) and William (Rachel Chen). Proud Opa of Brent (financée Benita Ong), Adam, Christa, Selena and Jason. Ralph will be sadly missed by his siblings Truus Mars, Marietje Storms and Joop Halman in the Netherlands and Martinus Halman of PEI. Pre-deceased by his siblings Grietje Borg, Lutie van Ham, Manna Spitzen, Nicholas Halman and Mannes Halman. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to ST. ANNES PARISH CHURCH AND HALL (859 Barnardo Avenue Peterborough) for a visitation on Friday, June 24th, from 10-11am. Mass of the Resurrection will be at 11am, reception following.
