<p>PRATT: Thomas Elliott</p><p>After a long battle with Lung Cancer, Tom peacefully passed away on Sunday the 9th of December 2007. A Life member with over 45 years of service with the Lakefield Legion Branch #77 (the best Damn legion by a Dam Site), he proudly served his country in both the R.C.N. and C.F. for 28 years. Tom is survived by his loving wife and best friend Louise Pratt (Anderson); their children, Sheri Crang and husband Jim of Shilo, Manitoba, and his son, Chief Petty Officer 1st Class Bill Pratt and wife Nancy in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Grandfather of Jessica and Jimmi Crang, and Guy and Andre Pratt, he will always be remembered as her favorite Son-In-Law by Ireene Turcotte. Brother of Robert and Janet Pratt of Langley, BC, and Sister Carolyn and Bob Fluery of Cobourg, Ontario. At Tom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a proper Memorial service will be held later in the spring at the Lakefield Legion. If desired, condolences to the family, directions to the service, and donations to the Lung Association, the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the Lakefield Legion Building Fund may be make at www.CommunityAlternative.ca or by calling Community Alternative Funeral Home at 742-1875. The family would like to pass on a special Thank you to all the Palliative Care Nurses at St Joseph's Hospital and Dr Stephan Ragaz for taking such good care of Tom in his final Days. Tom also wanted to Thank the Vitalaire company and their staff for being so friendly and helpful these past few years.</p><p> "Tom (Dad), We will Remember you".</p>
