STEWART, Walter O. – (Retired farmer from the Keene area and retired from Silverwoods Daries after several years of service). At his residence on Tuesday January 11, 2011. Walter Stewart of Peterborough, formerly of Keene, in his 94th year. Dear husband of Gertrude (Belfry) and the late Marie McMillan. Dear father of Donna May Monks (Ron Berwick) of Omemee and Ken Stewart (Sandy) of Woodstock, New Brunswick. Step-father to the late Wanda (Tom Windrem) and the late Ray Scarlett. Loving grandfather of six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Brother of the late Margurite and Russ McMillian and the late Morna and Norm Waterton. Friends will be received at the COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 83 Hunter St. W., from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Thursday. A Memorial Service to celebrate Walter’s life will then be held in the Community Alternative Chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception.
