John Stencell posted a Condolence
| April 24, 2008
Betty and family, my sincere sympathy at this time. Bill was indeed a fine man and an example of kindness and genuine concern for others. Hopefully there will be pigeon racing in heaven and they need another super member to run the club and do all the little jobs that need to get done. We can all be sure Bill is in heaven since so many will hold him there in our hearts. I was a teenager when I met Bill and he nurtured me and many other in our interest in Pigeon Racing. That was 45 years ago and I have remembered both Bill and Betty with great admiration over the years. Bill had a keen interest in the lives of others and alway enjoyed hearing of their success. We are all called to a life of service and Bill Baker for sure was always their to support others. Again my condolences at this time. John Stencell
I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about Mr. Baker. I was a friend of Steves MANY years ago. We met when he was in the hospital with a broken leg (twice). I use to come and visit him at Mr. and Mrs. Bakers house on Sherbrooke Street (it was the country back then). Now I live around the corner and often think of all of you when I drive by. My thoughts are with you especially at this difficult time.
