<p>SCOTT: Staff Sgt. (Ret’d) William Aird “Bill” – 37 year member of the Peterborough Police Force, served with the Royal Canadian Navy – WW II, long time member of the Salvation Army Band, Peterborough Concert Band, and Clarington Concert Band.</p><p>Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, in his 90th year. Dearly beloved husband of Jewel for 62 years. Loving father of John (Karen) of Waterloo, and Laurie of Peterborough. Proud Grandpa of James of Toronto, and Steven of Campbellville. Dear son of the late Aaron and Helen Scott. He is remembered for his humour, kindness and humility. A Memorial Service will be held at ALL SAINTS CHURCH, 235 Rubidge Street (at Sherbrooke Street), Peterborough, on Saturday, November 21st at 2 p.m. Reception to follow.
