Cherished mother of Stewart (Duane) of Douglas, Donna (Wayne Bates) of Calabogie and Allison (Margo) of Douglas. Loving grandma of Kerrie-Lynn (Dwayne Eady), Paul Andrews (Aimy), Brenda (Terry Dwyer), Donald Andrews (Amanda), Irwin Andrews (Cheryl), Garry Bates (Kathryn), David Bates (Angela), Kim (Ricky Schruder), Kevin Andrews (Kerry) and dear step-grandma to Stacey (Jeff Needham) and Megan McGinley (Chris). Predeceased by granddaughter Carol Elizabeth Andrews and great-grandson Mitchell Donald Andrews. Special great-grandma of 21 great-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Eva McKee (late Archie) and Dean McFarlane (late Waynona) and sister-in-law of Minerva McFarlane. Predeceased by her parents Stewart McFarlane and Jessie (nee Sharpe), her brothers Rev. Campbell (late Shirley), Dave (late Minnie), Murray (late Jean) and Don, her sisters-in-law Vina (late Dave Morrow), Blanche (late John Johnston) and Lola (Burt Peever). She will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visiting at McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munroe Ave. E., Renfrew on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 – 10:45 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Douglas Public Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff of Bonnechere Manor for taking such excellent care of their mother.
