YOUNG, Elizabeth May 31, 1970- June 27, 2020 Into her Lord’s arms, Elizabeth peacefully passed away. Loving wife and best friend of Korrie. Beloved mother of Shannon and Garrett Young. Daughter of Eli and Marilyn Vuksanovich. Sister of Ginny MacCormack and Maureen Guillemette. Elizabeth will be deeply missed by her best furry friend Stryder. She was born and raised in Tisdale Township, now Timmins Ontario. Elizabeth was an avid runner in high school and also worked as a lifeguard at the Archie Dillon Sportsplex. She moved to Toronto in the late 1980’s with her future husband Korrie to attend the George Brown College Nursing Program. She worked as a Registered Nurse for over 20 years, ending her career as a Nursing Supervisor at the Sault Area Hospital. Elizabeth had a genuine smile and captivating laugh. She would brighten up a room as soon as she entered. Her first priority in life was her family. She had an abiding and constant faith in God. She was generous to all, she was loved by all she met, and she will be deeply missed. Elizabeth would like to thank her coworkers at the Sault Area Hospital for being so kind and generous. As per Elizabeth’s wishes, a private family service and burial will take place. Memorial donations may be made (payable by cheque or online) to the Princess Margaret Cancer Center, Toronto Ontario.
