David Glen Staffen passed away at his residence in Hamilton, on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. In his 60 years among us, Dave shared in our lives as a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Dave will be loving remembered by his daughter Ana Staffen, his mother Shirley Staffen, his siblings, Carol (Dennis) Duquette, Sandra Montgomery, John (Maria) Staffen, and by his dear friend Catherine Kennelly. Dave will also be missed by his nieces and nephews and friends. Predeceased by his father Glen Staffen (2006), his sister Judy Scarrow (2007), brother-in-law John Scarrow (2011), and nephew Robin Scarrow (1994). Friends and family will be received at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth, (519-527-1390), on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, from 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Bethel Bible Church, 126 Main Street South, Seaforth, from 12:30 - 1:45 p.m., followed by a memorial service to celebrate Dave’s life commencing at 2 p.m. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall and interment will take place at Maitlandbank Cemetery.
