George passed peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, April 22, 2017. Born in Clinton, Ontario, on May 24, 1930, George Stanley Keyes of Varna was in his 87th year. Beloved companion of Marion Hulley of Seaforth. Dear brother of Ken (Sandra) Keyes of Toronto. Also missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and the Hulley family, Donnie (Marj) Hulley, Nancy (Gerry) O’Reilly, Judy (Cam) McLeod, Penny (John) Lansink, Paul (Cathy) Hulley, David Hulley, Doug Hulley, Susan (Tony) Arts and Sandra (Mark) Melady. Predeceased by his parents Sherlock and Jessie (nee MacKenzie) Keyes, his sisters Maude (Chester) Malloch, Jean (George) Campbell, and brother Donald (Jean) Keyes. Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, from 12 noon until the time of George’s funeral service at 1 p.m. A reception will take place at the Heartland Community Church in Clinton, followed by interment in the Bayfield Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
