Hilda passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Born in Toronto on September 11, 1923, Hilda Doris (née Price) Humeniuk of Oshawa, formerly of Toronto, was in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Mike Humeniuk. Loving mother of Paula Deering (David) of Seaforth, Gwynne Cafik (Marcel Thibault) of Port Moody, BC, and Dawn Lefakis of Halandri, Greece. Cherished Grandma of Andrea Deering (Tom Nagy), Kathleen Deering (Mike Feltham), Susanna Deering-Roberts (Sean), Melissa Donnelly (Gene), Jennifer Mercer (Travis), Leonidas Lefakis (Sophia Paissiou), Jason Lefakis, George Lefakis, Marlie Lefakis, and Great-Grandma of Phoenix, Larkyn, Gryphon & Gavin Hudson, Ty Deering, Brady Feltham, Coen Roberts, Thomas & Reid Donnelly, Kallaway & Crosby Mercer and Koy & Liam Lefakis.
