Lois Moore

Lois Marguerite (nee Jones) Moore passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at Maplewood Manor in Seaforth on June 30, 2017. In her 82 years among us, Lois blessed her family, friends and community with a special kind of love. Beloved wife for 55 years of the late Kenneth Moore (Feb. 2008). Lois will be lovingly remembered by her children, Brian Moore, Barry and Laura Moore and Darlene and Phil Menary. Cherished Grandma of Jake Graham (Andrea), Michael Moore (Gabby), Caroline Van Lith (Jeff), Julie Moore, Alex Menary (Kelsea), Jarrett Menary, Lydia Moore (Bas), Evelyn Menary (Lucas), Jack Moore, Grace Moore, Riley Moore, and Great Grandma of Liam Graham and Lochlan Van Lith. Dear sister-in-law of Linda Dunford, Margaret Beuerman and Rhea Jones. Lois will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by an infant son, granddaughter Camille Menary, parents Morgan and Jessie (nee Campbell) Jones, Ken’s parents Andrew and Fannie (nee MacKenzie) Moore, her brothers Alvin Jones, Larry Jones, sister Marion Snell (Jim), sister-in-law Betty Koehler (Elmer) and brother-in-law Bob Beuerman. Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Monday, July 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Lois’ life will be held at Egmondville United Church, 26 Kippen Rd., Egmondville, on Tuesday, July 4th at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Egmondville Cemetery followed by a reception in the fellowship hall of Egmondville United Church. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Egmondville United Church or the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
