It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce to our family and friends, the peaceful passing of Max Lisle Watts of Brussels. He entered into eternal life at Seaforth Community Hospital on Sunday, July 9, 2017, two days shy of his 81st birthday. He has left behind a legacy of 62 years of marriage to the love of his life, Barbara (née Benson). Loving father of Stephanie and Murray Kellington, Maxine and Murray Houston, David and Chris Watts, Trina and Brad McBride, Darrin Watts, and Ruth Ann and Kim Schroeder. Cherished Grandpa of Jason, Joel, Brittany, Jillian, Darryl, Jennifer, Kiel, Christopher, Lucas, Hilari, Mikaela, Tanner, Benson, RaeAnn, and Great-Grandpa to 14. Dear brother of Stephen and Judy Watts and family, and brother-in-law of Jean MacKinnon and her family. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate Max’s life will be held at the Brussels United Church, 61 King St., Brussels, on Saturday, July 15, 2017, with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Interment in Brussels Cemetery followed by a reception in the Brussels United Church Hall. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Seaforth Community Hospital would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
