Luigi “Lou” Cundari, passed away peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at the age of 87.
Faithful navigator of Knights of Columbus Kilroy Council #1431 in Stratford and the Father Nagle Council in Goderich, former Water Works Superintendent in St. Marys, former member of the St. Marys Town Council for two terms, Canadian Veteran of WWII and member of the St. Marys Royal Canadian Legion Br. #236.
Beloved husband of Audrey (nee Dunseith). Cherished father of Bonnie ( Mike) Mattiussi, Diane (Marcel) DeWinter, Terry (Larry) Ducharme-Bolger. Proud grandfather of Chantelle Mattiussi (Dominic Nirta), Lou (Vicki) DeWinter, Andrea (Ron) Nadeau, Gregg (Laurie) DeWinter, Mark (Emanuela) Ducharme, Janet (Kevin) Priebe, Keith (Tami) Ducharme, Lynne (Mark) Bennett and Great-grandfather of 12. Lou will be remembered by special friends, niece Edna and nephew Ted Black. Dear brother of Amelia, Loretta, Rita and Laura. Predeceased by 1 sister and 4 brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Name of Mary Parish, 149 King St. North, St. Marys, on Monday, May 14, 2007 at 11 a.m. with visiting 1 hour prior. Cremation to follow.
