In having worked on the loading dock at the London Free Press , with Richard for deliveries for EK3 , I had found a new friend , Richard was a very happy go lucky person and I enjoyed teasing him on his day to day shippments that he had to ship out . We had a few conversations on his little trip to Chicago and Richard was actually looking forward in going and doing some site seeing and taking in some festivites after convincing him he should treat the trip like a mini vacation while yet doing his work there. I am so saddened to hear of his passing and hope he to will walk with the angels and learn to fly . My heart goes out to you all (family & friends & work associates)sincerley Bert !!

I was so shocked to hear the news about Richard. I worked with him at Keigan a few years ago. I always appreciated his sense of humour and enjoyed working with him. He will not be forgotten. I wish to extend my sympathies to his family and friends.

I didn't know your son but, your daughter Jen is one of my best friends and I feel as though I know Richard from the talks Jen and I have had. He sounds like a wonderful, loving, person and I wish I had of had the chance to meet him. My heart and prayers go out to you at this time. Richard is watching over you all and will always be with you. Look to the skies for shooting stars, listen to the wind as it talks to you Richard is all around. love Mona Blain and Family

I too was shocked to hear this horrible news. Rich and I were good friends and teammates at the St. Marys Curling Club. He was a great curler and an even better friend. Whether it was on the ice or when we played PS3 at this apartment, he was competitive in nature and demanded a lot from himself in everything he did. This happened all so suddenly, I can't imagine how hard this has been on his family. Ed and Sandra - you have a wonderful, kind spirited & thoughtful son in Richard, and he will always be remembered in my heart for the friend he has been to me.
