I first met Shelley through a mutual friend, Sherry Campbell. From the very start I recognized a kindred spirit. I loved her dry sense of humour, her honesty, and her refusal to let anyone beat her down. She was always so easy to talk to, and believed strongly that everyone has a right to live their lives the way they feel they are meant to, without judgement or discrimination. She was a strong advocate for the disabled, and for those living in assisted care. May you fly free now Shelley. Your work here is done. You will be missed by those who loved you.
