Obituary for Vauneece Mulholland

A mere two months after our father’s death we are saddened to announce the passing of our dear mother Huberta Vauneece who passed away peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on May 29th, 2007.

Beloved wife of 51 years of Lloyd E. Mulholland. Vauneece was the daughter of Harry C. Harvey and his wife the former Anna Newell. Mrs. Mulholland was born in Norfolk, Ontario and has resided in St. Marys for over 60 years. Dearly missed by her daughter Anna Lynn Ferguson of Toronto, son David and wife Janell of Stratford and by daughter Sarah Vauneece de Kergommeaux and husband Drew of Ottawa. Her memory will be cherished by grandchildren Martha Ferguson Wisman and Husband Edzo of Toronto, Krista McMichael and Ryan Mulholland of Stratford and Jordan and Olivia de Kergommeaux of Ottawa. Proud great-grandmother of Chloe McMichael, Tyler McMichael, Brayden Hanson; Robelle Wisman (who was named for Vauneece’s grandmother) and Lucien Wisman. Survived by three nieces and their spouses: Karen and Gard Gammage of Guelph, Janet and John Uren of Brown’s Corners and Colleen and Eric Blomkwist of Newmarket.

Aside from her parents, Vaun is predeceased by her wonderful brother, J. Newell Harvey and his wife Fern, sisters-in-law Hazel Johnston and Pearl Tricket and much-loved grandson David Ferguson.

Mrs. Mulholland was a lifelong member of the St. Marys United Church.

Friends and relatives may call at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. South, St. Marys (519-284-2820) on Friday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 and on Saturday, June 2, 2007, from noon until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Janet Uren (niece) will preside. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery.
