Albert Maschke

Albert Maschke, 79, passed away peacefully at home, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday June 11, 2017, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Anna Maschke whom he married in 1975. Loving father of Barbara Maschke (Matthew Keast). Dear brother of Ruth Taylor, Oscar Maschke (Shirley) and Walter Maschke (Dianne). He will be missed by his brothers and sisters-in law Mildred Roth, Samuel and Mildred Roth, Leola Roth, Gordon and Carol Roth and Ruth and Bruce Steinmann. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John and Bertha Maschke , brothers Alfred and Jack Maschke, brother-in-law Clarence Taylor, father-in-law and mother-in-law Solomon and Alma Roth, sister-in-law Jean Schultz (Harold),and brother-in-law Elmer Roth. Albert loved farming. It was his great passion. He also enjoyed hunting and being out in the great outdoors. Friends will be received at the James A. Rutherford Funeral Home, 156 Albert St., Stratford on Friday June 16, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and at 1st St. John`s Lutheran Church, Seebach’s Hill on Saturday from 9:30 a.m until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations to the 1st St. John`s Lutheran Church, V.O.N.
