Doris Handforth

On August 7, 2019, Doris Handforth passed away in St. Marys Memorial Hospital at the age of 82, surrounded by her family and friends. Loving wife to John Handforth of Bornholm for 43 years. Devoted and loving mom to her only child Sheila Noon (Rod Dunsmoor). She is predeceased by her parents James and Matilda Noon, Grandma to Corey Vessie (Jennifer), Travis Vessie (Jade), Terri May (Joseph), James Diehl (Melodie), Jacqueline Dunsmoor (Jason), Mark Becker and Leanne Dunsmoor (Craig). She also leaves behind her 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Doris will be missed by her lifelong friends Daryl May and Don McClaskin and Maryann and Tony Pedro. Doris' favourite things in life were spending precious time with family and fishing and gardening on her property in Byng Inlet. She is sadly missed by her little dog Tina. Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering in her memory at the Brodhagen Community Centre on September 28, 2019 at 1 pm. 6708 West Perth, Line 44. All are welcome.
