Just short of her 92nd Birthday, Fran Rogers gently and quietly left us. Mother, Grandmother, Visionary, Educator, Innovator, Friend, Neighbour, Gardener are only a few of her gifts to us all. Fran was and still is in our hearts, a deeply intelligent, creative, courageous, tenacious, generous and loving woman, who shared all this with her children, students, friends, neighbours and global friends. Fran will rest in Simcoe, with her parents and her sister, where she was born. On Saturday, August 8th from 1-4pm there will be a celebration of Fran’s life at her home in Stratford, where she has lived for almost 60 years.
