Joy Simon passed away peacefully at PeopleCare, Tavistock, with family by her side on January 30, 2020 at the age of 90. Dearly loved by her children Adam (Jodi), Kerry and Samm (Christine). She will be missed by her grandchildren Nicholas, Emily and Sara. Her simple passions in life, besides caring for her children, were reading, tending to and nurturing her garden and going to the theatre. Special thanks for the compassionate care from all of the PeopleCare staff and therefore, any donations in Joy’s memory are requested to be made to PeopleCare, Tavistock. Out of respect for Joy’s wishes, there shall be no formal public visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held in her honour.
