Eileen Rae of the Nithview Community Residence, 200 Boullee Street, New Hamburg passed away at her Nithview residence on Sunday, February 17th, 2013. Born in Hagersville, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Maurice Winger and the former Flossie Gee. She was the beloved wife of the late Gordon Rae who predeceased her in 1997. She was a long time parishioner of St. James Anglican Church, Stratford, and past president of the Stratford Horticultural Society. Eileen was also an active member of the provincial and federal Liberal Party associations, and the former Inner Wheel club of Stratford. Dear Mother of Dorothy and husband Andrew Wilson of New Hamburg and Katharine and husband Angus Young of Grand Valley. Loving Grandmother of Robert Wilson and wife Jennifer of Kitchener, Ian Wilson and wife Tammy of Burnaby, British Columbia, Eric Young of Grand Valley and Neil Young of Whistler, British Columbia. Also lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren Maisie, Rowan and Jamie Wilson. Beloved Aunt of Charles Winger, Bill Winger and Judy Simon. She was predeceased by brothers Irving and wife Estella Winger and Elvis Winger. Cremation has taken place.
