Herman, Larry David It is with great sorrow that the family of Larry David Herman age 57 of Stratford suddenly and peacefully passed away at Stratford General Hospital, Stratford, Ontario on Friday July 26, 2013. Larry was the son of Jean (Knechtel) and the late Wilbert Herman. Loving brother of Brenda Moore and Al of New Hamburg, Deb Herr and Frank of Stratford and Sandy MacMillan and Steve of Stratford. Also survived by his nieces and nephews; Emily and Megan Moore, Melissa and Kelan Herr and Michelle and Michael MacMillan. Larry will be sadly missed by his aunts and uncles; Florence Wiggins of London, Vera Lewis of Stratford, Gladys Eidt of Mitchell, Wilma Czarny of Stratford, Ralph and Mary Herman of Stratford, Fern Allen and David of Kitchener and Mervyn Knechtel and Sheila of Rostock. Larry will also be missed by many cousins. Predeceased by his brother Paul Herman, aunt, Joyce Baumbach, Uncles Tony Wiggins, John Eidt, John Czarny, Chester Lewis and Bruce Baumbach and cousins; Bob Eidt, Rick Herman and Barry Herman. Larry worked at the family business Spinning Wheel Motors, bought vehicles at auctions throughout Ontario with his parents, was a mechanic and also assisted with farming operations. He liked to play the drums and guitar and loved to camp at Port Albert. A special thank you to the staff at ACT Team for their continued care and support. Friends and relatives will be received by the family on Monday July 29th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the James A. Rutherford Funeral Home 156 Albert Street, Stratford where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 30th at 11 a.m. followed by interment in Sebringville Cemetery.
