Lavina Margaret Christine Fischer, 96, passed away peacefully on Friday August 16, 2013 at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener. Born in Ellice Township, she was the daughter of the late John Debus and Christine Fleischhauer. Lavina lived most of her life in Rostock before moving to Trinity Village Studios in Kitchener. She is survived by her son John and wife Susan Fischer, of Kitchener, Daughter Mary and husband Lee Breen of Plattsville. Loving grandmother of Jason and Crystal Fischer, Tim and Steve Breen and great-grandchildren Logan Fischer, Lucas and Alyssa Breen. Lavina was predeceased by her husband Gordon on August 10,1985. Friends and relatives will be received at The James A. Rutherford Funeral Home 156 Albert Street, Stratford on Tuesday August 20th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 21st at 2pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Moserville. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
