Lawrence Saunders, 85, of Stratford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, November 10, 2016. Beloved husband of Cecily Saunders. Loving father of Antony Saunders, Karen Saunders, Nigel Saunders and wife Laura Bisutti, Doug Saunders, and Erika Boyer and husband Darrell. Dear grandfather of Torie and Colin Leigh, Devon, Jennifer, Garrett, Monica and Julian Saunders and Jacob Boyer. He will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Douglas and Floris Saunders and brother James Saunders. At Lawrence’s request there will be no funeral home visitation or service. Arrangements entrusted to the James A. Rutherford Funeral Home, 156 Albert St. Stratford.
