Norine Madeline Griffin passed away in her 92nd year at Stratford General Hospital on October 3, 2016. Born in Stratford, September 23, 1925, she was the daughter of the late William Griffin and the former Alice McFarlane. Norine is survived by her sister Mary Griffin as well as her niece Heather Blum and husband Steven Blum. She will be fondly remembered by her great-nephews Brady and Ryan Blum and a great- niece Marissa Blum and her cousin Jean McFarlane. Norine was predeceased by her brother William “Bill” Griffin and wife Mary Griffin. A funeral service will take place at the James A. Rutherford Funeral Home, 156 Albert Street, Stratford, on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 2:00pm. Friends and Relatives will be welcomed for visiting from 1pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
