Orville Iredale It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Orville Iredale Jr. at the Stratford General Hospital on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the age of 71. Orville was the son of the late Orville and Myrtle (Herman) Iredale who both passed away in October 2006. He was born in Stratford and lived in St. Marys, Gadshill and back to Stratford in his later years. He worked at Crane Plumbing, Stratford Division until his retirement. Orville is survived by his sister Grace (Fred Kinberger 1992), sister Ann Burley (Bill), sister-in-law Jackie (Norman Iredale 2006) and sister-in-law Jackie (Bob Iredale 2016). Orville was the uncle to 15 nieces and nephews, a great-uncle to 25 great nieces and nephews and a great-great uncle to 5 great-great nieces and nephews. He was famous for his one line jokes. His humour and wit will be missed by all those who were fortunate to have met and loved him. A Celebration of Orville’s life will be held on Saturday November 18, 2017 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 236, 66 Church St., St. Marys from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Orville has donated his body to the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology of the University of Western Ontario. Memorial donations to the Charity of One’s Choice may be made by calling Rutherford Cremation and Funeral Services at 519-271-5062 or online at www.jarfh.com
