The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday September 11th, 2012 at the age of 52 years. Daughter of Angela (née Garneau) Cormier and the late Joseph Cormier. Loving wife of Yves Perreault. Dear mother of Valérie, Angèle and Danielle. Also survived by her brothers and sisters, Jean, François, Thérèse, Monique, Rita, Joe, Céline, Phil, Anne-Marie and Julie. Predeceased by her brother Pierre. Lucie was a very dedicated horticulturist and environmentalist. She successfully owned and operated Lucie’s Green Thumb in the Sturgeon Falls area and beautified the region with her many gardens and flower beds. The family will receive friends at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, on Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, September 17, 2012 at 11:00 am in Sacré Coeur Church Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the West Nipissing Beautification Committee would be appreciated (cheques only).
