JOLY, Edouard The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Ottawa, Saturday, June 27th, 2020 at the age of 83 years. Husband of the late Mariette Joly (née Lefebvre) of Chelmsford. Son of the late Rose (née Paquette) Joly and Albert Joly. Loving father of Jacqueline Whissell (Guy) and Guy Joly. Predeceased by his son Ronald. Dear brother of Rita Gauthier (late Laurier), Réjeanne Bergeron (late Ernest) and Lorraine Robillard (Mike). Predeceased by his sister Jeannette Sauvé (late Yvon), and his brothers Roger (Lise) and Henry (Georgette). Dear brother-in-law of the late Pauline Courchesne (late George), late René Bouffard (late Armand) and Louis Lefebvre (Lindy). Grandfather of Stéphanie Whissell (Simon Lafleur), Kimberley Whissell, Courtney Whissell and great-grandfather of Owen Platero, Kaleb Platero and Liam Lafleur. Sadly, missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 11th, 2020 at 11 a.m. at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford. Due to the current pandemic and its restrictions, a 100 persons limit will be enforced. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada can be made by cheque or online.
