In Loving Memory of Sir Knight Daniel Jobin (4th Degree) 75 years Passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the Maison McCulloch Hospice on Wednesday, April 26th, 2017. Beloved husband of 40 years to Gail Francis Jobin (nee Cole) predeceased. Loving father of Philip Jobin of Sudbury & Eric Jobin (Loreta) of Toronto. Son of Armand & Cécile Jobin (nee Villeneuve) both predeceased. Brother of Vivian Tomas (Edwin predeceased) and Irene Gross (John). Cherished Uncle Danny of many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by the Jobin & Cole families, many friends, and the community at Holy Redeemer Church. Daniel retired from Falconbridge after 30 years. He was an active Scouter and a very active member of Holy Redeemer Church for over 30 years, where he was very involved in many lay ministries, particularly as a reader and a member of the church choir. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, Bishop Scollard Assembly and a member of the Holy Redeemer Council #10888. Resting at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017 Friends may call from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be held at 7:30pm followed by a memorial service under the auspices of the Knights of Columbus Council #10888. Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 1887 Bancroft Drive Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. (Friends may gather at the church after 10:00 a.m.) Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with burial alongside his wife at Civic Memorial Cemetery. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice, Holy Redeemer Church Building Fund or the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
