In Loving Memory of Gilbert Vaillancourt 87 years Peacefully on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Annette (Rancourt) Vaillancourt and Joyce (Jokinen) Vaillancourt both predeceased. Loving father of JoAnn Kennedy (Peter predeceased 2018), Dan Vaillancourt (Lauri) and Ron Vaillancourt (Melanie). Cherished Pépère to Kevin (Jennifer), Karrie (Shawn), Zackary, Danyka, Karyssa and great grandchildren Mackenzie, Mason and Austin. Dear son of Joseph and Corrine (Bernier) Vaillancourt both predeceased. Dear brother of Roland (Rachelle), Jean (Al Gauld), Rita Maynard (Bob) both predeceased, Larry (Danielle), Thomas (Colette) and then predeceased by Joseph (Maryann), Kenneth and Donald. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St., Sudbury (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9pm Monday with parish prayers at 3pm Monday) Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church 39 Walford Rd., Sudbury Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 11am Interment in the family plot at the Civic Cemetery, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association would be appreciated. Due to the COVID-19 directives 50 people or less in our visitation room.
