James Doyle

James (Jim) Joseph A. Doyle August 10, 1930 – December 10, 2012 Born in Elgin, Ontario to Tom and Ann Doyle. Jim moved to Wahnapitae in 1949 where he began his teaching career, married Gladys Racicot (predeceased) and raised his family. Jim retired after 25 years of teaching in 1985 to spend his future days at his camp on the Pickerel River, the place he truly cherished and loved. He leaves behind many loving friends and will be dearly missed by: his loving wife Pat, children: Katy Begley, Penny Milligan (Tom), Heather Doyle, Patrick (Mickey) Doyle, Candace Dupuis and Charles Doyle (predeceased by his son, Jimmy Doyle/2009), Stepchildren: Ray Stephenson (Irene), Tim Stephenson (Debbie), Ted Stephenson (Linê) Rick Stephenson and Matt Stephenson (Bonnie), grandchildren: George, Samantha, Zandy, Zachary, Christopher, Melissa, Jenna, Raymond, Charity, Emily, Christine, Shannon, James, Rob, Clayton Ryan, Kyle, Cole, Bailee and great grandchildren: Madelaine, Charlotte, Braeden, Connor, Ashton , Silas, Dalton, Mackenzie, Austin, Madeline, Payton and Parker. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch St., Sudbury Friday, December 21st, 2012 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM Funeral mass at Notre Dame de la Riviere Church, Wahnapitae Saturday, December 22nd, 2012 at 10 AM. Interment at St. John’s Cemetery, Garson. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation - Daffodil Terrace Lodge.
