Mae Henderson Sudbury, Ontario Obituary

Mae Henderson

In Loving Memory Of Mae Henderson (nee Ransberry) 96 years Saturday, October 21st, 2017 at Health Sciences North, mom was called home to be reunited with our dad, Keith Henderson who loved her through 66 years of marriage. She was our beloved mother and will be so missed by, Evelyn Horner (Gerry), Carol Leck (Mel, predeceased), Rhoda Reardon (Peter), Lois O’Sullivan (Denis), Esther Gerard (Raymond), Everett Henderson (Joan) and predeceased by Bill Henderson (Sandra). Mom was a grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother to a large and loving family and she cherished each and every one of them. Born in Orono, Ontario to James and Florence Ransberry, mom was one of 13 children (10 predeceased). She will be missed by her two sisters, Eleanor Terrill (Cliff) and Norma Forder (Harold). Mom opened her heart and home to so many and her incredibly genuine connections, within our family and the church communities she worshiped with, were treasured by all. We rejoice in her well-lived life and leave her in the arms of her Saviour. In lieu of flowers, donations to Bethel Baptist Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. Friends may call 4 – 8 pm Monday, October 23rd and after 10 am Tuesday, October 24th. Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, Tuesday, October 24th, 2017 at 10:30 am. Interment at the Orono Cemetery at 2 pm on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Family and friends all welcome to attend the committal followed by a time of fellowship.
