Beloved father of Allan (Debbie), Michael, Janet Austin and Neil predeceased. Cherished grandfather of Ken, Adam, Matthew, Ryan, Joanna, Joel and Stéfan. Dear son of Michael Dempsey and Dorothy (Ward) both predeceased. Dear brother of Willis, Margaret, Delmer (predeceased) and Janet (predeceased). Melvin was an avid outdoor enthusiast who loved nothing better than spending a day fishing with his family or friends on Burwash Lake. He will be remembered for his generosity and willingness to help anyone in need. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Friday) Funeral Mass in St. Kevin’s Church, Val Therese Saturday, April 9th, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. Interment in the Valley East Cemetery.
