In Loving Memory of Rayda Groves (Boyd) McVittie 95 years Sunday, April 23rd, 2017 at Pioneer Manor, Sudbury. Beloved mother of John (Jane), Bonnie Lynn (Bob Cullen), predeceased by Ted and infant Susan. Cherished grandmother of Andrew, Stacey, Patrick, Alyssa and Catherine. Dear daughter of Alexander and Lillian Boyd both predeceased. Dear sister of Ted (Marion), Bernice (Fred McDonald predeceased), predeceased by Doris (Darcy Meehan), Gordon, Rita and Victor “Dick”. Born in Parry Sound, Rayda started her career as a medical Secretary, and then she proudly spent many years serving as a Courthouse Assistant to the Office of the Attorney General. She was a Life Master Bridge Player. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home 233 Larch Street, Sudbury Thursday, April 27th, 2017 at 11:30 A.M. (Friends may call after 10:30 A.M. Thursday) Interment in the Park Lawn Cemetery. Donations to the NCF Cancer Center or Health Sciences North Foundation –Cardiac Unit would be appreciated.
