C. Ross Green M.D.

GREEN C. Ross M.D., - Passed away peacefully at his residence in Thorndale, on Friday, December 16, 2016. Ross was the beloved husband of Shirley (Hitchon) Green for over 64 years. Loving father to Cheryl Montgomery and David, of Toronto, Larry Green of Thorndale, Jayne Fragiskatos and Nikolaos of Hensall, Kathryn Marie of St. Marys, and Barbara Hogg of Thamesford. Cherished grandfather to Panayese Fragiskatos (Katherine Low), Fragiskos Fragiskatos, Artemysia Fragiskatos, Dimitris Fragiskatos (Marlene Pavoni), Gregory Woldnik, Andrew Woldnik, Natalie Woldnik (Kristoffer Hansen). Ryan Hogg and Holly Hogg, great-grandfather to Denethor Hanson (Natalie and Kristoffer), Marianna Fragiskatos, and Lydia Fragiskatos, (Panayese and Katherine). Also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Allan Green. Ross was C.M Queen’s 53 Ordinary Seaman Royal Canadian Navy, HMCS Waskesiu, Volunteer Reserve 1944 – 1946, and Honorary Member of Fanshawe Yacht Club. As per Ross’s wishes, his body has been donated to the Anatomy department of Western University as his favourite subject was anatomy. Family will receive relatives and friends at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford, 519-285-2427 on Sunday, December 18th from 1- 5 pm, the memorial service will be held at the Thorndale Zion United Church on Monday, December 19th at 11:00 am with Pam Wilcox officiating. Reception to follow in the Thorndale UC hall. Memorial contributions may be made to the Thorndale Zion United Church or the Canadian Food Grains Bank.
