ABBOTT, Mary Margaret – Passed away suddenly at Woodstock Hospital on Sunday July 9, 2017. M. Margaret Abbott (nee Lockwood) of RR # 4 Thamesford in her 73rd year. Survived by her loving husband Ronald of almost 49 years. Marg was born and raised in Delaware, until 1968, when she married Ron and moved to RR # 2 Thorndale. In 1990 they sold their farm and moved to RR # 4 Thamesford. Marg is survived by her brother Jerry Lockwood and sister in-law Marion Lockwood. Also survived by sisters-in-law Joyce (Abbott) and her husband Ken Fortey, Marlyn (Abbott) and her husband Bill Brady, brother-in-law Jerry Abbott and his wife Ruth, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Mary Lockwood, sister Connie McDougall, brother Tom Lockwood and sister-in-law Mary Lockwood. Marg was a longtime employee of Sifton Properties, London and Thorndale Farm Supplies. Sincere thanks to the Woodstock Hospital Dialysis Team, Doctors, nurses and staff for all the years of Marg’s specialized care. Visitation will be held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 177 Dundas St. Thamesford on Wednesday July 12, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday July 13 2017 at 11:00 am.
