BRACKENBURY, Ray Arthur – Passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, May 31st, 2016. Ray was in his 77th year. Cherished husband of Evelyn (Willan) for 56 years. Loving father to Shannon & Wayne Anderson, Stacey & Dale Root, and Shawn & Keith Root. Loved grandpa to Chantal (Adam), Jason (Brit), Randy (Miranda), Tommy (Emily), Tyler, Alexandra, Chris, Derek (Tessa), and great-grandson Jackson. Dear brother to Elaine Myer (Bill), and Joyce Bastien (Donn). Also missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Ron and Bill. An Open House to celebrate Ray’s life will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 between the hours of 1 and 4pm at the home of Shawn and Keith Root, 21866 Nissouri Road, Thorndale, ON. Interment of ashes in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
