Ross Blair

BLAIR, Ross George – Passed away a month before his 60th birthday, after a valiant battle against liver cancer. Ross spent his last few days here on earth with his family at VON Sakura House, Woodstock where he died on Sunday, July 31, 2016. Ross was the beloved husband of Elizabeth “Beth” (Huston) for over 28 years, loving father to his three daughters; Chantel, Laura, Courtney, Ross was the second father to Marie and and cherished grandfather of Joey. He also leaves behind his parents Delma and Ross Blair. He grew up in a large and loving family with his four sisters; Rosaline (the late Jim), Debbie (Terry), Wendy (Rick), Darlene (Durval), and his brother Willie (Sandra). Ross is also survived by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and a host of long-time friends. Friends may join the family on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford, ON. The funeral will be held on Friday, August 5 at 11:00am at Crossroads Alliance Church, 194552 Regional Road 119, Ingersoll, ON with reception to follow in the church hall. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and may be arranged through the funeral home. Personal condolences may be sent at www.brockandvisser.com
