INNES, Violet Claries (nee Johnson) - Passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, at Chartwell Nursing Home, Aylmer, on Friday, November 18, 2016 in her 84th year. She was the beloved wife of the late Douglas Alexander Innes (Feb 2016) for almost 59 years. Loving mother to Cindy Innes Girodat (Vince), Karen Zupko (Steve), Douglas Innes (Brenda), and Julie Brekelmans (Mike). Cherished grandmother of Melissa Rothenberg (Ian), William Huber (Daniela), Lauren Cramm, Kevin Zupko, Sarah Zupko, Emma Innes, John Brekelmans, Cathy Toth (Trevor), and Amanda Neville (Curtis). Great Grandmother to Zoe Rothenberg, Eileigh, Zack Toth, Olivia, Liam, and Kenley Neville. Dear sister to Alice Light, Nancy Slager and Gerald Johnson. Predeceased by siblings Ellen Montgomery, Margaret Johnson, Mabel Johnson, and Wilmer Johnson. Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford, ON. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 11am at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Embro with Rev. Tom Godfrey officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall with interment to follow in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
