It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved brother, Mr. Kenneth Arthur Missere, who passed away peacefully in Pinewood Court on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the age of 70 years. Ken was born in Fort William, Ontario on May 20, 1945. He was employed for over 35 years at Simon Day Company, as a Sheet Metal Worker, mostly in the field on the grain elevator high spouts and pollution control equipment. He then went on to running various elevator jobs in Western Canada for his last 10 years of employment. Following retirement, Ken purchased a motor home, which he planned on using to go fishing and travelling. He did make a trip out to British Columbia to visit with his children and grandchildren. Ken will be remembered for his generousity and kindness and will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. Kenneth is survived by his daughter Sheril Missere and grandchildren Nigel, Griffen, Sawyer & Sophie; son Ryan Missere and grandchildren Aleczander, Rebecca &Vanessa; three sisters, Carol (Gary) Brewer, Shirley Hall and Cathy (Randy) Krelove and a brother Mike (Vivian) Missere; nieces and nephews Debbie & Jason, Trevor, Christopher, Brandon & Shannon, Michael & Andrew and Amanda, Eric & Kevin as well as numerous other relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Rose Missere, his brother Leonard and brother-in-law Richard Hall. The family would like to the Doctors, nurses and staff of Pinewood Court for the exceptional care they provided to Ken. A Private Family Service will be held in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Interment will take place in Mountainview Cemetery. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Ken to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
