Mr. Marvin McMenemy

McMENEMY Mr. Marvin Robert McMenemy Sr., age 89 years, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Marvin was born on April 30, 1929 in Port Arthur, Ontario and was a lifelong resident of the city. He worked in the Mining Industry, before becoming a Watchman at Lakehead Scrap Metal, until retirement in 1996. Marvin was a quiet man who kept to himself, but will be missed by his family and friends. Marvin is survived by his son Patrick (Linda) McMenemy of Dryden; grandson Michael (Sheri) McMenemy and great-grandchildren Jeffery and Kamryn. Numerous other relatives also survive. He was predeceased by his parents, Russell and Olive McMenemy and his son, Marvin. The family would like to thank the nursing staff of VON for all of the care and comfort you provided to Dad. Thank you as well to Harrison and Dan McQueen for your kindness. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held in Mountainview Cemetery at a later date. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Marvin to the Second Chance Pet Network in Dryden would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James.
