The family announces with great sorrow her death on Wednesday May 8, 2019 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 80 years. Survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Victor Mageau; her son Rainer Edward Mageau (Sherone), her step-children Kim Sheppard and Jamie Smith; her grandchildren Sophia Mageau, Joel, Josh and Jordan Sheppard. She was predeceased by her parents Vilho and Aino Wuorela and by her sister Elizabeth Nicks. The family will receive friends on Saturday May 11, 2019 from 11 am to 12 pm (noon) at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Lessard-Stephens Reception Centre. Remembrance donations made to the Kulta Koti Finnish Home or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
