Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 96 years. Loving wife of the Late William Scott (May 24, 1996). Beloved mother to William Scott Jr. and Peter Scott (wife Karen). Cherished grandmother of Samantha and Rebecca. Dear great grandmother of Scott. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Margaret, by her brother Alfred Blair and by her sisters Bernice MacFaden and Jean Deering. Thank you to Dr. Eric Paquette and the nursing staff at TDH for their excellent care and compassion. The family also wishes to thank Care Partners for their tremendous support over the years. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 7 – 9 pm at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Remembrance donations made to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
