Obituary

After a courageous battle with Cancer the family announces with broken hearts his passing peacefully at home with his wife by his side. Beloved husband of Candice Lalonde (nee Johnson) He will be sadly missed by his children/step-children Cindy Freund of Calgary, Sue Popovich of Schumacher, Carl Johnson (Kathy) of Schumacher, Roxanne Jalbert (Dan) of Schumacher, Cindy Jalbert (Dan) of Schumacher and Laurrie-Ann Jalbert (Roger) of Iroquois Falls. Will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren/step-grandchildren Jennifer (John), Trayce, Eyce (Paige), Chayce (Nick), Korey, Dante, Valerie (Steven), April, Carl (Kaden), Emma, Jeremy (Hailey), Mikey, Cassidee, Devyn and his great-grandchildren/step-great-grandchildren McKinley, Colbi, Hayden, Chase, Chance and Eli He is survived by his sister Joan Bulloch (David) of Tillsonburg. Predeceased by his parents Dieu Donne Albert Lalonde and Olive Lalonde, his step-brothers Bill Baker, Leslie Baker and step-sister Ina Baker. A big shoutout to the Bayshore team and Dr. Griffiths for their amazing and kind service during a very difficult time. Lorney started his career as a hairdresser and ended it as a talented carpenter. He will always be remembered for his love of animals, helping people, his motorcycles, camping, country music, sitting outside in his gazebo, singing, and playing his guitar. As per his request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to Bayshore Home Health and the Timmins & District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
