The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Norma Tinney on February 3, 2014 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 80. Beloved wife of 59 years of the late Clayton (May 2011). Loving mother of Roy Tinney (Irene) of 100 Mile House B.C., Brenda Lapierre (Richard) of Porcupine. Forever missed by her grandchildren Darryl (Kerrey), Melanie (Greg), Emily and Sarah and by her great-grandson Reese. Daughter of the late Clifford and Mabel Harmon. Dear sister of Janet Kelly of Guelph.
Sister-in-law of Ruth McDonald (Murwood) of Iroquois Falls, Carol Daviau (late Paul) of Timmins, Mary Tinney (late Norm) of Halifax, N.S., Elaine Tinney (late Richard) of Toronto. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother James Bond (Freda), her sister Dore Provincial (Elmer), her sister-in-law Florence James (late Eddie), her brother-in-law Garnet, Beverley, Hilliard (late Ruth), Normand and Richard. She loved the outdoors, gardening and camping. She drove School Bus for Tisdale Bus Lines for 30 years. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday February 7, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. in the
funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends on Friday February 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at
Donation to Spruce Hill Lodge will be greatly appreciated.
