With sadness, we announce the passing of Teresa on July 9, 2020 at the age of 96. Predeceased by her beloved husband Giuseppe (February 1992). Cherished mother to Maria (Pasquale Gemmiti) and Lina (Nick Presutto). Proud nonna of Loredana (Nando) and Lisa (Mark) and great-grandmother to Luigi (Katherine), Nick (Adamo, father) and, Megan and Katrina and great-great-grandmother to Audrey. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Monday, July 13, 2020 from 4-9 p.m. Please note, that due to COVID-19 Pandemic Restrictions and social distancing requirements, for the visitation, the funeral home must conform to 30% occupancy capacity. Visitors may need to wait to enter the funeral home in order to maintain the capacity requirement and are required to wear face masks. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Norbert’s Church (100 Regent Rd., at Ancaster Rd. – north of Wilson Ave.) on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass is also limited to 30% capacity of St. Norbert’s Church and face masks are required. A private entombment will take place at Westminster Cemetery.
