Giovanni Giustini, 81, died Saturday March 31, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his beloved wife of 57 years, Maria (Angelone) Giustini, caring and devoted father to Rina, Nadia and son-in-law Craig, Laura and son-in-law Phil, and son John. Proud grandfather to Victoria, Anthony, Alex, John and Elaina. Giovanni was a quiet and gentle man who made it a priority to care for everyone in his life. He was kind, loving, compassionate and considerate. There was nothing more important to him than his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Avenue) from 2 – 8 pm on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. A Mass of Christian burial will take place within the funeral home in the chapel of St. Joseph on Thursday, April 5 at 11:30 am. The final rite of committal and interment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
