CARVALHO, ANTONIO It is with heavy hearts the family of Antonio Carvalho announce his passing at the age of 65. Antonio was born November 13, 1951 in Furnas, Sao Miguel. Son of Herculano Carvalho and Maria Dosanjos Cruz and brother to 10 siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife Maria Vieira Carvalho of 41 years. He was a loving father to Tony (Nicholle) Carvalho and Sandy (Dave) Lazaridis as well as an adoring grandfather "Babu" to Anthony, Victoria and Oscar. Antonio was the definition of a hard working man; having worked with his hands all his life. He was always willing to help friends and especially family with whatever they needed. He was proud of his family and strived to provide them with a good life. One of his favourite things to do was spend time at his home away from home up at the cottage. He had a vision for his children and grandchildren to enjoy and he spent most of his weekends with his best friend, his other half, his beautiful wife Maria. He was a great cook, he had a sense of humour that made everyone laugh and he brought family together. Antonio Carvalho was a generous man and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
